What a magical place to stay for Christmas. My wife and I had the most amazing time, it was super cozy and we loved having the lagoon to watch birds at all day long. Kym is an amazing host and we will definitely be back.

This place was nothing short of magical, even in winter. It was the perfect spot for a mother daughter getaway in an absolutely stunning location. Pictures don’t do the view justice but we enjoyed barbecuing and an outdoor fire in December. Kym has the place super stocked with warm blankets, board games and firewood that make for an enjoyable time even if it rains a lot. The place feels so well thought out and loved and we were sad to leave. So many great reading nooks and a very well stocked kitchen for prepping meals (spices, bread, butter, condiments and she even got us milk!). It’s only 5 minute drive from everything in Madeira Park but you likely won’t want to leave!

Beautiful spot, very helpful host. Calling it 2-bedroom is a bit of a stretch, but otherwise description is spot on. Would definitely consider staying here again if we should return.

We had a wonderful stay at Kym's cabin! It is an artful, fun, and peaceful cabin + surroundings that are well integrated into the forest/lagoon setting. We especially enjoyed the sitting area on the bluff overlooking the lagoon, along with meals on the deck as the tide flowed through the channel below the cabin. Kitchen is set up well and bed was comfortable. The weather was warm so we did not spend much time sitting inside, but the wood stove looked nice for other times of the year. Kym was very accommodating, generous, and welcoming. We enjoyed exploring the Pender Harbour area and could have spent more than just the few days that we had here!
