The check in process was easy and simple. The place was bigger then we thought it would be and was overall pretty clean, but we noticed a Odor as soon as we got there and shortly after had found mold in the bathroom medicine cabinet , on the Curtain in the larger room, on the window sills, and a couple other smaller places. We only stayed 2 nights, and didn’t feel comfortable reaching out to the owner due to his response to prior complaints.The location was great and close to the family we were visiting, but unfortunately would not stay agian due to health concerns related to the mold.

We had a great stay at Richard’s cottage! The cottage is very private, very cozy, and had everything we needed. I highly recommend!

Sadly it was not up to my expectations. I left private feedback in apt for host and received swearing and rudeness by text. Too bad, because maybe they were new to air b…The cottage is a gem! Private and beautiful well kept grounds. Location great but the interior is in need of much work. The first thing you smell is strong musty smell. The curtains are ripped and mildewed. The dresser, the drawer is bottomless and missing knobs to open. The bathroom was spotless but in need of big renovations. At least a toilet roll holder. And a stall size shower curtain… not a makeshift liner folded in half. Three condoms were left in the night stand… 8x10 sweet photos made up the art on walls…Velcro to the walls. No fire extinguisher. Our need were met in space and pet friendly. Im sure the picture is clear. I would only stay again if it as attended to. Clearly the host are not interested in making guest welcomed.

I was traveling with my dog to visit my mom. There were other family members staying with her, so I thought it best to stay somewhere a little more peaceful where I could get some quiet time to myself as well. Richard's place was perfect. It had everything I needed for a short stay. It's in walking distance to the center of shops in Greenlawn and not a far drive to Huntington and other sights in the area. The owners and their dogs were super friendly, and I enjoyed meeting them. There's a big yard outside where my dog played with their dogs. On my second day the fire alarm battery was low and then started beeping constantly. I contacted Richard and he immediately took care of it. I had a great time and would definitely stay here again.
