Merre is a wonderful host! She responds right away and accommodates all our needs. The place is very peaceful, they have chickens on the property and sometimes peacocks if you are lucky. There is a creek that you can walk to, they also gave us a tour to their farm!

Our family reunion at Sterling House and “Thirties” Studio Apartment was wonderful! Our family gathering of 15- including 7 grandchildren- was comfortable, peaceful, and provided precious memories for all of us. We were warmly welcomed by Ty as he helped us unload and introduced us to the farm. The kitchen was well equipped for us to prepare family favorite recipes and lots of baked goods using the farm fresh eggs they provided! The grandchildren enjoyed lazy days playing with the cat, enjoying the chickens, and especially exploring the creek. Our fondest memory of the week at Ozark Highlands Farm was loading everyone in the back of Grandpa Coach’s pickup to drive down a quiet dirt road to the creek where we would play for hours swimming, holding frogs and crawfish, skipping stones, and enjoying a tailgate lunch of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! The girls had fun playing “beauty parlor” with Grandma Peaches at the vanity in the Blooms Room upstairs. We all appreciated the quiet beauty of our surroundings and the opportunity to reconnect with each other since we are spread out from New York to Hawaii. Thank you, Merre, for the gift of a lovely setting that helped build goodness into our 3 generation family.

We had a wonderful experience! Merre was a helpful host and we really enjoyed the beautiful accommodations. The Thirties apartment and Stirling house were the perfect housing for the four families gathered from different states and it was nice to have indoor access between the two units. Our lodging was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. All of the adults and children found plenty of fun indoors and outdoors--our group especially enjoyed the lovely outdoor eating areas and having easy access to the nearby creek. Five stars!
