We loved our stay at Mas de l’Hermitage. It was a beautiful, characterful property within 10-15 minutes walk of Cucuron and it’s shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed some lovely walks up into the hills behind the house which is rurally located amongst olive groves. The terrace was a beautiful place to sit and the swimming pools were fantastic. Johan and Sylvie were friendly and helpful hosts and made us feel very welcome.

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 7 Leuten. 3 Paare und noch eine Person. Uns hat es gut gefallen. Beide Pools und die gesamten Außenanlagen sind sehr schön. Die Lage ist sehr gut/15min zu Fuß nach Cucuron und die Umgebung traumhaft. Innen ist das Haus typisch für die Region, provencialisch, verspielt, aber alles sauber. Es gibt zwei Bäder mit Dusche und Klo und ein weiteres Klo. Die Ausstattung hat alles, was man braucht und es ist genug für eine große Gruppe vorhanden (Geschirr, Gläser, Decken, Stühle etc). Manch einer mag es vielleicht nicht, dass die Inhaber nebenan wohnen, aber man bekommt von ihnen nix mit. Sie sind sehr diskret und kümmern sich morgens um die Sauberkeit des Pools. Aus meiner Erfahrung heraus ist es normal, dass es entweder Kameras gibt oder der Hausherr nach dem rechten schaut. Ein Bad ist en-suite, so dass man sich ggf. absprechen muss. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und die Woche genossen.

This may be the favorite of all the places we’ve stayed. The home is beautiful, the location is stunning and the gardens and pools are to die for. The worst part about this place is that we had to leave — I wish we could stay longer. We hope to come back soon and would recommend this home to anyone and everyone.

The most beautiful place, filled with atmosphere. A gorgeous place to relax and enjoy a special time in Provence. The place is even better than the photos. Very comfortable and well equipped. Very tempting to stay in rather than explore the wonderful town of Cucuron and others in the Luberon Valley. The pools are lovely, the larger one for lap swimming or splashing about, the smaller one for plunging into in the morning and evenings and lying beside. Johan and Silvie are wonderful hosts. Thoroughly recommend for larger group or even as we were just a couple. One of the best AirBnBs ever!
