Marie is a wonderful host and the apartment is very well equipped and comfortable. There is a main double bedroom, a small child's room and a living room with a sofa bed. There is space and light and the shower is wonderful. Be aware there is a lot of construction going on in the neighbourhood which can be noisy during the day. The walk from the metro isn't very pleasant but there are some great food shops, a covered market and an excellent bakery called Farine in Le Pre Saint Gervais. The apartment is very convenient for getting to and from Gare du Nord.

Marie was very friendly and thoughtful. she had a whole bag of recommendations for us to go to she even had a map to tell us how to get to transportation and food.

Marie's place was lovely and well equipped. Marie met me on arrival and then clearly went through all that we could do in the Airbnb. Then she explained where everything was in the neighbourhood which was very helpful. She communicated with me on a regular basis to see if everything was going well. The only thing was that workers started their work on the building site opposite at 8am!! This was annoying if you wanted a longer lie. We felt quite nervous when coming back to the apartment in the evening as it was quite dark and there were many people hanging about on the pavements and we were anxious. Howeverthe apartment is lovely and clean and we loved it.
