The local neighbourhood is residential and tranquil. A wide variety of shops, including supermarkets, restaurants, petrol stations and day to day necessities are at the bottom of our road.
A walk up the road directly from the Casita leads you to spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and over the valley.
Below the Casita there is a bird hide by a small lake that can be visited.
San Martin de los Andes has quality clothes, souvenir and outdoor activity oriented shops as well as a wide array of restaurants. The area is renowned for outstanding mountains, lakes and scenery as well as skiing, fly fishing, horse riding and trekking, kayaking, hiking etc.

There are frequent cheap buses into San Martin town centre, all buses, apart from line 4, passing by the end of our road, and taxis are reasonably priced. The local airport, Chapelco, is 10 minutes away by car. Bicycles are readily available for rent.
