Ciao sono Giulia , I am 47 years old and I live in Abruzzo, central Italy, together with my husband Gianluca and our 3 kids. Our rustic farmhouse with views to the countryside and mountains is set in organic olives and vines fields. We love hosting people from all over the world to make people enjoy the Abruzzo countryliving. The Country House is a short drive to the Majella National Park and Gran Sasso National Park, Adriathic sea, old villages and beautiful Abbeys. We rent three rooms in the same country house we live in. 1 room for up to 2 guests with private bathroom, 1 country suite for 2 up to 3 people ( with bedroom, living room and two bathrooms) and 1 country suite for up to 4 people ( with bedroom, living room and two bathrooms). It’s a very peaceful place far from the movida in the closer coastal area. A lot of olives and vines will welcome your morning or evening walks. Unfortunately you can’t reach the village without the car (10 minutes) or a long walk. We offer private rooms great for guests who prefer a little privacy, yet still want to meet someone new and experience the area like a local. With our three private room, guests will have their own bedroom in our home, in a private second floor with a view, plus access to spaces that may be shared with others. For example, guests might walk through indoor spaces that another person may be sharing in order to get to their room, the breakfast room with fireplace and the garden area. We use to make breakfast for our guests buying from local farmers especially old grain flours and pecorino or cow milk cheese and using our organic olive oil and veggies. We love local, seasonal, fresh and organic products and we are very proud of our foodie experience at our house. We also provide very nice hands-on Cooking Classes in English/Italian. We live here all the year and we use to host travelers from April to October when the countryside is more beautiful. Being a very small family business we love to dedicate winter time to our kids and to ourselves to be more welcoming for the new season. We love renovating furnitures from flea markets too, you can find them in the house to decorate our rooms and some are on sale too. Love collecting tea towels from all over the world my guests use to bring when visiting us. I love sewing linen table cloths for my guests breakfast, aprons for our classes using old fabric from flea markets So come exploring our amazing land and Enjoy with us our Life in Abruzzo.
