Absolutely incredible place and host! I stayed approximately one month in this wonderful apartment located in a charming and very hip neighborhood. The building and surroundings are all modern and beautiful. The inside is very roomy and stocked with anything you can think of that you’d need. The apartment is completely clean and fresh. The beds are super comfortable and it was awesome having a washer and dryer! It’s just a few minutes walk to the train station which is very convenient. The neighborhood has grocery stores, convenience stores, pharmacies, etc. There’s a ton of cute restaurants in the neighborhood. Check out “European Restaurant HANA” and “Menson Rage”. Steve is a friendly and super attentive host! He is helpful and gave great recommendations on places to go around the area and beyond. He is extremely communicative and checked in with me to make sure I had everything I needed and was comfortable. Will definitely stay here again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Steve è un padrone di casa eccezionale, completamente dedicato ai suoi ospiti. Ci ha trattato da subito come fossimo vecchi amici e grazie a lui abbiamo trascorso delle ottime serate insieme. Temevo fosse un posto troppo decentrato, ma i collegamenti sono semplici, e vale la pena di stare pochi minuti in treno si guadagna in tranquillità. un'esperienza davvero rara

L'appartement de Steve est situé dans un quartier très intéressant. Steve est accueillant et propose des sorties avec ses hôtes. La propreté est standard. Malgré tous ces points très positifs nous retournerions séjourner chez Steve seulement si le logement était désodorisé et la source de la mauvaise odeur fixée. La mauvaise odeur de clim non entretenue est forte et perceptible depuis l'extérieur devant la porte d'entrée. Toutes les affaires ont absorbées cette odeur, tenace même après lavage, y compris dans les valises, appareil photo, chaussures etc.... Steve a insisté pour qu'on laisse la fenêtre et la porte fenêtre ouvertes du matin au soir, ce que nous avons refusé, le logement étant au rdc et tout le monde pouvant alors entrer. Nous aurions aussi apprécié être prévenus de l'installation, pendant notre séjour, d'un appareil à moteur qui se met en route même la nuit, dans le garage, juste de l'autre côté du mur de la chambre.

What a wonderful experience! It was in a great location for us: a quiet station along the JR Chuo line, which made it easy for us to get everywhere we needed to go. The experience at Steve's place was so easy for an American traveler: not only was he comfortable in speaking English to my husband, but he has really thought about the comfort of American travelers in his place. The sleeping area is a larger space than other places we have stayed, so we never felt cramped. The washer-dryer buttons, the dehumidifier, etc--all were carefully labeled to be useful to English-speakers. There were convenient reminders posted around the place about shoes and humidity and sorting the garbage. And the pillows and towels are full-sized for American use (if you have stayed anywhere else in Japan, you know how important that can be!). Steve was kind and responsive: in all, a great experience, and we hope to return to stay at his place again next year!
