Spacious gite (75 m²) for 4 people, completely renewed, with a terrace directly adjoins the swimming pool of 12 by 6 meters. Barbecuing with a view over the Valley. Great, green area with a lot of attractions. Caves, castles, beautiful authentic villages and cities (Rocamadour, Sarlat, Domme, ...), markets and hundreds of little restaurants. With the Dordogne as mighty blue wire through the landscape. Canoeing, hiking, biking ... it's all here! The gîte has a surface of 75 m² (ground floor + upper floor). The ground floor includes a living room, an open kitchen and a separate storeroom. The upper floor comprises a bedroom with double bed, a bedroom with two single beds, a separate toilet and a bathroom. From your private terras you have a view over the swimming pool. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, stove with 4 basins and oven, a microwave, a fridge with freezer, a coffee maker, electric water kettle, a toaster, a large and a small pan, four cooking pots, oven dishes and numerous small kitchen equipment. Who wants to can use the joint washing machine. In your storage space is a drying rack, ironing board and iron.

Nous avons pu apprécier la tranquilité de ce gîte et son emplacement assez proche en voiture des principaux sites touristiques de la région. L'acccueil et la disponibilité des hôtes est irréprochable.

Le Manoir is very quietly located surrounded by beautiful nature and built on a hill in the valley of Borrèze (an affluent of the Dordogne river). The estate together with four neighboring houses form the hamlet of La Forge. Only 5 miles southeast from Souillac, a cozy market town with a wide range of restaurants, shops, banks and other facilities, and famous for its abbey church with beautiful sculpture.
Souillac is situated in the valley of the Dordogne. This valley cuts through three departments: the Lot (Quercy), the Corrèze and the Dordogne (Périgord). Le Manoir is located in the Lot, but just five kilometers next to border with the Dordogne department.
The area is one of the most beautiful and particularly liked of France and offers an ideal combination of landscape variations, an overflow of culture and the excellent cuisine, all influenced by the mild Mediterranean climate. Le Manoir is the ideal point of departure to visit the many impressive castles and medieval villages, as well as prehistoric cave paintings and carvings. We invite you to discover the richness of the Quercy-Périgord.
Rather sporty?
For walkers and cyclists are the hills around Le Manoir a challenge. Your own bike can be stored safe and dry in our barn. If you like, you can rent a bike in Souillac.
Are you a golfer, or do you just want to try it? Less than 2 km away is a beautiful (but according ro experts also difficult!) 18-hole golf course.
And one of the all-time classics is of course a canoe trip on the Dordogne river. You can choose the distance and duration.
Le Manoir is only 3 miles away from the A20 exit 55, the highway to Toulouse and Spain.
Brive-la-Gaillarde is the end-of-the-line for the TGV from Paris and the one from Lille.
The airport Brive-Souillac is at 12km and has a daily flight to London. During summer Ryanair flies regulary from Charleroi to Bergerac (150km). Transavia does the same from Rotterdam.
The airports Bordeaux and Toulouse are 2 hours distance away by car.
Souillac has its own railway station.
