This is a private 2b1b apartment within 1.0 mile to ASU and Mill ave. It is our own vacation home --me and my kids stay here once in a while when we're in town. Surprisingly quiet neighborhood given the convenience. Enjoy the unique atmosphere and be close to everything Tempe has to offer.
As our own home-away-from-home, we keep it nice and simple. Each room are with beds (one with full-size bed and another with queen-size bed) and desk & chair, plenty of space in closet. It is a family friendly space--we offer high chair and other kids' stuffs by request (toys, books, kid utensils...etc.) Walls were hand-painted by us! For international travelers, we can offer US domestic phone with unlimited domestic talk and data plan by your request.

Great location. Close to everything you need. Easy check in and out. Host was easy to deal with. Stayed for 3 months. Would have stayed longer but was previously booked.
Great location. Lydia was very communicative and helpful. The place itself is a bit old. The carpet has stains and is very rough. The walkway to the apartment has nails coming out and rotting boards, but overall it was a nice stay.
The location is terrific and the condo and pool great. It is also clean and cleaning lady comes every other week. The place was quiet and the neighbors were friendly. The futon is not the most comfortable to sit on. Also if you like to cook then there are not many supplies. Even w the two “negative” factors I would still recommend and Lydia was great to work with!
Downtown Tempe is an awesome place to live and vacation. Historically, Tempe has been considered a college town and a gathering point for artists and intellectuals and the tradition carries on! Within walking distance from the home there are many favorite local establishments.
There are many transportation options in close proximity. The apartment is less than 2 blocks from the Phoenix Metro Light Rail which connects to Downtown Phoenix and Mesa.
My husband works in academia with his PhD degree earned in Arizona State University and I am an entrepreneur and MBA, also from ASU. We have been lived closed by campus since 2010. My husband is especially an expert of coffee and knows a lots of great coffee places. We enjoy outdoor, frequented every "green areas" in the valley and explored the very beautiful places including Camelback mountain, Phoenix Mountain Reserve, South Mountain, Roosevelt Lake...and a long list. Meanwhile, we have several other lists for local dining and shopping. We are travelers as well, have been frequented~2 dozens of countries in Europe and Asia. Your good-night-stay is important to us. Long before using Airbnb, we have been opened our home to the church family. We had great time sharing our home with saints from California, Texas, Taiwan (our origin), China, Korea, and Europe.
