If you're looking for peace and nature and real bulgarian life, that place is perfect! The house is simple but comfy, the host is nice and reactive, the surroundings are nice and wild - We loved it!

So much potential, but unfortunately a very bad experience. I was looking forward to the rustic house in the beautiful Brodilovo. Instead we were met with a very dirty house that did not seem to have been cleaned in a very long time. The water stopped for hours at a time - sometimes for most of the day. This meant that washing and flushing the toilet was impossible. On the second day were were very unhappy to find rat droppings on the kitchen stove after returning to the house in the evening. Many lights in the house were not functional and the beds were uncomfortable. I would advise the host not to rent the house out to guests until all of these problems are rectified. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip in Brodilovo short due to the many problems with the house.

A relaxing modestly equipped country house at the edge of the village. We loved that we could take vegetables from the garden and order meals and products from the neighbor Eva. We were not happy with an unpaved road in front of the house but that is common in the area. The host was very nice and recommended us very good beaches.

We were a family of five who really enjoyed staying in the rustic cottage. The village of Brodilovo is beautiful - there are fields, a stream and gentle mountains just outside. It is only a 20 minute drive to excellent beaches. The cottage was a great taste of village life, but also comfortable to stay in. There is a great outdoor fireplace for BBQs, we were able to help ourselves to some of the ripe vegetables for the garden and the kids enjoyed playing on the grass. Many thanks!
