From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and made to feel at home by Tarcy and her husband. The Casa is just a short walk from centre and has amazing views of the bay and El Yunke mountain. A highlight for us was great breakfast (including hot chocolate from Baracoa)on roof terrace. Tarcy also gave great recommendations on trips and organised our transfer to next location. Would definitely recommend Casa La Marina as a great place to stay.

We had a very nice stay at Tarcys casa. Rooftop terrasse with a beautiful view to the bay and el Yunque. Tarcys was adorable and most helpful. Our best recommendations!

This is an amazing place! It offers the best view in all of Baracoa. Tarcy is a very good host, she makes great breakfast and she is well connected to all sorts of people who can take you on excursions, to the beach or a transfer to your next destination. To make the most out of your trip, I would recommend staying longer than we did. I'd say about four full days so you can do a beach day, see the canyon, go to the El Yunque mountain and go to the Humboldt park. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a great stay in Baracoa!

Unser 4 tägiger Aufenthalt bei Tarcy und Ihrem Mann waren unsere besten Tage in der schönsten Gegend auf Kuba. Tarcy ist die beste, freundlichste und aufmerksamste Gastgeberin, die man sich wünschen kann. An meinem Geburtstag überraschte sie mich mit einem kleinen Geburtstagskuchen (ich sagte ihr vorher nichts vom Geburtstag). Der sehr gute Trinkschokolade zum Frühstück war ein Highlight. Das Zimmer wird täglich gereinigt, nach 2 Tagen bekamen wir neue Handtücher (das ist sonst in Casas nicht üblich). Immer wenn möglich, haben wir den tollen Ausblick auf der Dachterrasse im Schaukelstuhl genossen. Wir haben uns bei Tarcy sehr wohlgefühlt, können die Casa uneingeschränkt empfehlen und wünschen Tarcy und ihrer Familie für die Zukunft mit ihrer Casa weiterhin viel Erfolg. Baracoa is an interesting place with a lot of beautiful nature to explore in the surrounding area. It has a lot of interesting characters too. But i could not be more excited to recommend staying with Tarcy and her family if you ever make the trek to get here. The view from the terrace is incredible first of all. And Tarcy and her wonderful family were a delight the whole time i was there. I felt right at home the whole time. I will 100% be staying with them again the next time i come to Baracoa. Do yourself a huge favor. In a country where sometimes hosts are unresponsive or maybe less than great or even sometimes don’t exist at all, i can honestly say the stay with Tarcy was my favorite of the whole trip. She went above and beyond time and time again to make my stay more enjoyable. Could not recommend enough!
