Exeter lodge was fantastic. It was so beautiful, the views incredible and the smell when you walked in was gorgeous!! We had the best week here and will be coming back each year now. The only slight issue was the amount of ants but due to the remote location, it is to be expected really. Every single thing you could possibly need was in the lodge...Games...books... towels...cleaning supplies. We paid extra for the hot tub which was lovely. We are a family of 6 and we were a little worried it mught be a bit snug but we came down to the lodge as we were getting married locally so figured it wouldnt matter too much as we wouldnt be there a lot...however we couldnt be more wrong. The bedrooms are really generous sizes and the dining room so spacious... lovely heated floors. Genuinely, we didnt want to come home. We cant wait to be back!!!

Exeter Lodge was a fantastic Easter getaway, set in idyllic rolling countryside with amazing views and loads of local wildlife including deer if you are up early. Exeter lodge is in a great location easily accessible to the coast and the coast path and also great local walks through the woods. The house was immaculate and we loved the hot tub 😀

Nicky hosts a lovely place to stay. Really private and not over looked with stunning views of the countryside. Everything was exactly as the pictures showed. Very clean and pristine with a handy book recommending local places to go and see, as well as leaflets for local attractions. Hot tub was lovely and tucked around the side of the house making it private. Lots of local widlife around. Saw lots of pheasants and deer on the drive up and the road leading the lodge. Directions provided were accurate and easy to follow to find the lodge. Just an amazing place to stay would 100% reccomend it.

Very helpful instructions provided to get to the location as it is difficult to find initially. The property is accessed by a series country lanes that is very narrow and difficult to navigate if you arent a confident driver just bare that in mind. The tracks aren't very well maintained, there are a lot of potholes so if you have a low car again this is something to consider. The property itself is breathtaking, the grounds are beautiful with every room having a lovely view. Nicky was really responsive and helpful whilst we were staying in the property helping us navigate the hottub (which is absolutely amazing) and fixing the shower head holder as soon as we had highlighted a problem. The kitchen is well equipped, beds are very comfy and the garden is secure enough for our 2 year old to run around safely in. All in all it was an amazing stay from start to finish, we loved every minute of our stay in Devon, as well at at the lodge. Thank you for having us.

We had a fabulous stay at Exeter Lodge, the location is perfect to get to many local areas. The views are epic! The lodge was beautifully furnished and extremely clean. Very happy & would stay again.
