It was only a couple miles from downtown Athens. Fife was very proactive and responsive. The house was charming and practical in quiet neighborhood. Has big backyard.

This is a beautiful home and the huge yard is definitely the standout feature - especially if you’re traveling with dogs. There is lot of room to run and play and enjoy a day just out in the yard. There’s a picnic table and a fully-equipped Big Green Egg, so if having a cook out is your thing this is the place to be. (The hammock is great for a nap after the feast!) Some things to be aware of - the home is older so some of the electrical outlets (in our experience, in the master bedroom) aren’t functional. You will need to use outlets in other rooms if you have cell phones or other devices you want to plug in. Also, the outdoor mini pool is great for a foot soak, but it’s not covered. So, if you visit when it’s windy or just after a storm, you may find some dirt and debris build up along the bottom.
