This was my 5th year staying here. I love the peaceful beautiful entry to the cottage steps going through the plantings and bird baths and feeders. The upstairs area is spacious and practical. The kitchenette is small but full of amenities. I love looking at all the little touches that make it homey. Steve is very agreeable and responsive to any need. I use this place to base my birding adventures from Edinburg Scenic Wetlands to South Padre Island and many in between!
This was one of the best experiences I've had with Airbnb. I stayed stayed for two months, and would have liked to stay longer. Steve is a great guy, very helpful and great to talk to. For everything I needed, Steve helped. The house is so comforting with lots of trees, plants, and birds. The garden surrounds the house. The pictures and descriptions are accurate. When I come back to the valley, I will definitely stay again, if it's available.

We have used airbnb in the SF Bay and other areas and shared our homes with family, friends, and short-term roommates throughout our lives so we know how to be quiet, considerate quests and hosts. I've traveled around the U.S., incl. Hawaii, Alaska, Florida, Washington (St & DC) Germany, England, Samoa, Guam.
