Marcelene is amazing host. The property is absolutely amazing, the pictures don’t show it’s real beauty at all. We enjoyed a large room, furnished with antique furniture, king size bed and beautiful bathroom with garden view. Marcelene and her family were very hospitable and we felt like home during our stay. They live in the house but it’s hard to see them around so we could enjoy our privacy all the time. One of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in!

This was our second time to stay at Marcelene and Roberto's villa, because there is no other place we would rather stay in all of Tuscany! Marcelene was out of the country, but Roberto took excellent care of us. He offered us beautiful aperitivos in the evenings, made sure we had gps and clear directions wherever we went - he was there for us day and night (we did call on him late one night and he was super kind and helpful!!). The breakfasts are wonderful - we enjoyed a different fresh pastry surprise every day, along with eggs, fruit, and cereals. We also managed to enjoy a splash in the beautiful pool every day! Marcelene and Roberto have an amazing place, which they take wonderful care to maintain. The decor and architecture of the house, the landscaping, the views onto the countryside - it is all exceptional. Combined with the kindness and hospitality of Roberto and Marcelene, there is no other place to stay in Tuscany!

A Tuscan oasis perched prominently in the area of its owner's namesake, heralding the cultural charm of its 17th century lineage. On approach you are greeted by a private lane of Cypress trees and a serene Chapel before you enter the main courtyard to the primary Villa residence and all its historical splendor that awaits you. You are immediately greeted by the warmth and hospitality of the beautiful family that has inherited this stunning estate, reflected in their respect for maintaining it to tradition while also imbuing it with the carefree joys of everyday life. We had the privilege of sharing this experience with two other couples and their children. Whether lounging in the sun, taking a dip in the pool, enjoying an aperitif in the loggia, a stroll for a nearby gelato, biking along the escarpment or excursions to a myriad of scenic towns within easy distance, there is nothing that the mind, heart and soul cannot feel inspired by. The owners made us feel so welcome in their home that we felt we owned an emotional piece of it. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was one to remember and cherish; it was and we did. For anyone who has a heightened appreciation for the rarefied and exceptional, this is the property to rent. It offers it all - including a chef to prepare dinners that rival some of the finest culinary establishments. We not only highly recommend this rental experience, we will certainly plan to come back again. It was picture perfect right down to the sounds of crickets serenading us as we relaxed "under the Tuscan sun". Bellisima!

From the moment we were met by Roberto just off the motorway, and guided to his 17th Century Tuscan Villa we were made to feel welcome. The villa is a spectacular place to base yourselves for a holiday in Tuscany. It was so beautiful and unique and Roberto and Marci such incredible hosts that we were torn between enjoying our enormous and beautifully decorated room, the villa, the pool and the surrounding gardens, olive grove, vineyard etc and getting out and exploring the many quintessential Tuscan villages within a short drive of the villa. Breakfast each morning was a spectacular spread with fresh baked delicacies, however the highlight of our day was enjoying 'aperitivo' with Marci and Roberto and sampling local olives, salamis, cheese etc. My husband and I were travelling with our 5 and a half month old baby girl and Marci and Roberto went out of their way to make her comfortable and entertain her - she didn't want to leave. Frankly, it is hard to put into words how generous and hospitable Marci and Roberto were. Every comfort was provided for and every little detail perfected - Marci even gave us a list of recommended restaurants nearby. We hope to be able to return one day soon.
