We enjoyed a nice stay at João's place. Getting a car in was a two stage process, as you need to retrieve the keys from the lock-box to get inside and open the garage door. Then you need to turn 90° left from a busy road while the door is open. We found rhe easiest was was to stop the traffic in the left lane while executing a wide turn in from the right lane. Everyone was helpful and understanding. Once in the garage, there is plenty of space. The apartment on the 4th floor (there is a lift) was pristine and well equipped, but the bedroom is right above the busy road, so can be noisy. It is easy to walk into Porto centre from the location, but be aware that Porto is very hilly. Sao Bento station is an easy walk away for the best train trip into the Douro Valley.

Appartement tel que décrit, parfait pour visiter Porto à pieds. Stationnement intérieur apprécié. Petite épicerie à proximité. Bien équipé pour cuisiner au besoin. Chambre donne sur une rue très passante donc bruyante.

Great spot to stay while exploring Porto. Very comfortable apartment with personality. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and taking in the views from both windows. Good location for walking any place, but off the main tourist track.
