This was my first visit to Italy 🇮🇹 we were looking for an authentic experience in a charming village . Vicopisano exceeded our expectations ! It is an ideal location to tour the country side or head to the sea, from historic medieval towns to beautiful seaside villages all within an hour driving . Our hosts Marie and Lorenzo were absolutely incredible, from the time of booking through out our entire stay they were available to recommend authentic experiences!! We came as guests and we leave as friends . So grateful to have found this hidden gem.If you are looking to be off the beaten path this is a must visit.But 🤫 don’t tell too many people.

The Casa Colomba is fantastic! In the heart of Vicopisano but yet reachable by car. It is comfortable and beautiful. And Marie and Lorenzo are the perfect hosts!

Staying in this gorgeous apartment was quite special. The authenticity of the place boosted our whole experience of Tuscany. Additionally there were lovely touches that made us feel at home at the end of the day. One thing to note is that staying in a building as old as this comes with some little nuisances like very low water pressure, poor drainage, a long steep staircase & that with the air conditioning external unit legally having to be placed inside, the 'summer room' & the kitchen were too hot to use. But we were very grateful for the cool living & bedrooms! Marie offered us a tour of the village which we accepted. We learned interesting things about the village, including tips on restaurant choices and opening hours of the local supermarket. Marie (and Jenny when Marie was out of town) are great hosts. We had a fabulous stay.

Nous avons adoré séjourner à la Casa Colomba, magnifique logement alliant avec beaucoup de goût, le charme de l’ancien au confort moderne. Sans oublier un mélange de décoration anglaise et toscane qui se marient à merveille. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié le temps que Marie a passé avec nous le jour de notre arrivée pour nous faire découvrir le village et les endroits à tester (restaurant, gelateria, boulangerie, musée Vespa Piaggio, …). Nous avons tout fait et nous les en remercions. . Nos hôtes : gentillesse , hospitalité et professionnalisme., le logement : un appartement plein de charme dans un environnement magnifique et paisible qui permet proche de sillonner les routes toscanes et découvrir Volterra, San Gimignano, Pise, Fiesole, Florence, …. En bref, A PLACE TO BE 👍

Wir sind noch immer ganz verzaubert von unserer Zeit in Vicopisano in Marie und Lorenzos kleinem Paradies ☺️ Die Lage ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Städte- und Strandtrips in der Toskana! Die Wohnung ist wunderschön eingerichtet, super sauber und zu unserer Überraschung nun auch mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet - besser hätten wir uns unserer letzten vier Tage unseres Toskana-Trips nicht vorstellen können! Direkt nebenan in der wunderschönen kleinen Gasse liegt ein kleines Restaurant mit der besten Pasta und den charmantesten und unterhaltsamsten Inhabern der Welt! Wir haben uns selten so willkommen gefühlt! Mit Marie und Lorenzo hat man so herzliche Gastgeber, dass man sich super schnell wohl fühlt 🥰 Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und können es kaum erwarten, dann auch die verschiedenen kulinarischen Ausflüge wahrzunehmen 🥰 Marie & Lorenz, vielen vielen Dank für diese unvergesslichen vier Tage in eurem wunderschönen Casa Colomba!
