DO NOT STAY HERE! Do not book this Airbnb without reading the whole listing and the hosts profile thoroughly. If you book this Airbnb, you will not get “the entire townhome” as is stated in the listing and you will not have access to the kitchen. The host puts some dishes and a mini fridge in a small work room and calls it a “kitchenette.” We had a very bad experience with this host. When we brought our concerns to her attention, she was extremely rude and hostile. Also be aware that she will demand cash on site and the parking is very inconvenient. Additioanlly, this is an unsafe location for children since the stairs are very steep, unguarded and you have to walk past them to get from room to room. I’ve stayed in dozens of Airbnbs across the world and I’ve never had such a bad experience. I strongly recommend finding a different place to stay.
Wir waren zwei Nächte bei Tijetske und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Appartement ist sauber, grosszügig und gemütlich. Man ist in 2 min am Strand, wo es viele tolle Restaurants hat. Wunderbare Gegend, welche man mit dem Fahrrad erkunden kann. Der Bahnhof liegt in Gehdistanz. Mit dem Zug ist man in wenigen Minuten in Haarlem oder in Amsterdam.
We had a very warm welcome to Tjietske’s apartment, she’s a very friendly and helpful host. The rooms are exactly as described. The staircase is steep with narrow steps, but the apartment is very comfortable and convenient, and in a quiet street just a few minutes walk from the beach with all its cafes. We enjoyed spending our days in Amsterdam and the Keukenhof Gardens, with evening walks by the sea. We ordered Amsterdam Regional Transport tickets online and collected the tickets in Amsterdam on our way to Zandvoort, ready to use for the sunsequent three full days that we were in the Netherlands. Transport was then really quick and easy, going to Keukenhof via Haarlem, and to Amsterdam and beyond. Thank you, Tjietske, for a very enjoyable stay.
