Nestled on the southeastern shore of Loon Lake just north of Spokane, Granite Point has been the waterfront setting for family vacation memories for 100 years. Our sandy beaches, pristine swimming areas, fresh lake fishing, and vibrant atmosphere made it the summer destination of choice for families coming from throughout the Pacific Northwest. Originally built in 1986, Cottage 14 has a vintage charm with all the amenities, cleanliness, and space for a perfect getaway with beautiful lake views from a private covered deck overlooking the beach and the lake to the West. The cottage has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and twin over twin bunk bed, the other with a double bed and a separate bathroom with a shower. There is an additional double bed by the cottage's entrance. The common room has a sitting area, a dining area with a table and chairs. The kitchen is equipped with a range, full-size refrigerator, pots, pans, utensils, coffee pot and filters, toaster, and microwave (but no spices, condiments, or coffee). Beds are made up with linens and a lightweight coverlet, and we provide a bath towel, hand towel, and washcloth for each guest. Please bring your own beach towels and toiletries. Our Store is stocked with many commonly forgotten items, and if there is something you need (spaghetti cooker, larger baking dish, apple peeler), please don’t hesitate to ask and we will do our best to accommodate If you don’t feel like cooking after a fun-filled day enjoying the Resort , join us at our historic Café where we serve handmade meals, your favorite coffee & espresso drinks, hand-dipped ice cream, beer, wine, and happy hour specials.
Nice primitive cabin right on the beach. We were supplied with very clean new linens and bath linens. Sufficient dishes and cups/silverware/ cookware. New dish sponge and dish soap. Hand soap also supplied. We brought our own paper towels, kitchen towels, spices, foil, zip lock baggies and Tupperware and other bath essentials. Next time I would probably bring bottled water and even a small grill or air fryer! The staff were friendly and welcoming! We appreciated them. We enjoyed the sunsets and convenience of the lakefront. We didn’t have much of a crowd and enjoyed that. But I know it does get busier on summer days. The boys enjoyed playing basketball on site courts. We also kicked the soccer ball around. There’s a small bike pump track on the premises. Many RV and mobile home spots around the property. Everyone was respectful and the property felt secure. There’s a cafe on site with a small menu. The storefront also has supplies on a pinch. We were happy to cook and prepare meals in our cabin. The weather was nice for us. I don’t know how the cabins would feel in extreme heat but I did not see fans in the rooms. Maybe need that if you were to come during the extreme heat.
