The place was perfect. Amazing views and easy access to a private beach. Super well maintained, every thing you can think of was there. Brilliant pool and a great host that added personal tips and advise whenever we needed it. Probably the best Airbnb I was ever at.

Totally amazed at this beautiful property. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Enjoyed the splendour of the beautiful gardens and cooling off in the lovely swimming pool and sea. The house is maintained to the highest standard. John is an wonderful, charming and welcoming host who was available and willing which made the stay even more special.

We had a fantastic stay at the Monopetra Estate and the venue as well as the owner contributed a lot to make our wedding a unique lifetime event. The estate is a remarkable lifetime work of John and the interior as well as exterior is of the highest quality making the stay super-exclusive. John was very helpful and supported with plenty of calls and recommendations. Alexis - John's helper - was very helpful and made the extra step wherever he could. The estate offers both a stunning bird's eye sea view and direct private beach access. Despite the numerous places we have been to, the Monopetra Estate is definitely the most remarkable place we stayed so far with a lovely owner and helper. Absolutely recommendable!!

John the host, was an absolute star! He made you feel welcome and right at home from the first minute you entered the gated premises. He definitely went above and beyond of what could be expected from a host. I was given a very detailed description on the fastest way to get there, and furthermore asked prior to arriving if I wanted any specific groceries delivered to the house. Upon arriving John was there to greet you, and we went though the entire house and outdoors showing me how everything worked. The house and outdoors area are exactly as pictured, stunning, idyllic and no question of a doubt the ideal place for a couple to come and rewind and get away from the hustle and bustle of bigger cities. Internet and cellular connection was fantastic, indoor and out. John has setup a long range wifi antenna so you're covered throughout the garden area. There were also loads of unexpected amenities which were at the guests disposal such as brand new snorkling equipment, wireless bluetooth speakers, jump rope, yoga mats, apple tv, BBQ etc. If you weren't in the mood to cook or explore the small local restaurant in the nearby town (3min by car), John offered to arrange for delivery of delicious local greek food, which i did once! All in all, an absolute great experience. Can't recommend this little gem highly enough.
