Alles in allem ein Toller Aufenthalt. Sehr schönes Apartment mit direktem Zugang vom Zimmer über die Terasse in den Pool. An Ausstattung war alles da was man braucht. Restaurants Fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Der Strand ist ca. 15min zu Fuß entfernt. Ein Roller wäre trotzdem ein Tipp, da die Lage des Apartments an einem sehr steilen Hang ist. Roller bekommt man überall in 5-10 Gehminuten für günstiges Geld. Negativ war für uns das direkt über der Zimmertür win Riesen Loch war und ein Eimer direkt vor der Türe stand, da Wasser den ganzen Tag getropft hat. Auch nach Schimmel hat es gerochen. Die Klimaanlage ist relativ laut. Aber wir konnten trotzdem gut schlafen. Ohne war es jedoch nicht zu ertragen bei der Hitze. Bei Ankunft war in der Unterkunft auf dem Boden überall Mäusekot, dieser wurde direkt von einer Putztruppe entfernt und nochmal durchgewischt. Mäuse haben wir keine gesehen.

This is a great stay! The studio apartment is perfect for one person or a couple. It has a little kitchenette with a single electric burner, fridge, and basics for cooking which is good for longer stays. The balcony walks right into the pool which we took advantage of many times. The curtains provide good privacy without blocking light (unless you close the dark ones for sleep). Super easy walk to the beach and shops in Karon beach. Could also walk to Kata beach if you wanted or pay for a cab/tuk tuk. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxed stay in Phuket! Regarding the electricity that’s included: we used far less than the daily allowance without doing anything fancy except making sure lights and AC were off when we weren’t there.

Property was clean and spacious, we really enjoyed our stay here near Karon beach. All facilities were good (especially the pool)- other than that the TV was not working during our stay. In general, would recommend.

The Ark condo is in a great location on Karon Hill, within walking distance to the beach, shops, bus etc. It's got great amenities and lovely staff, and an amazing pool that snakes right around the building. However, staying at Lofty's wasn't great for us. As soon as we checked in we realised that the air conditioning in the apartment wasn't working. So we contacted them through AirBnB messaging which was problematic as their response times were slow. There was no way to call them. There were also few pieces of crockery etc in the kitchen so we asked for more. They eventually told us to wait and they would send someone over. We waited and waited but nobody came . By this time It was getting late, we were hot and hungry, so we went out to get something to eat. On our return the crockery had been delivered but the AC was still broken. There was a message saying that we could move to another apartment of theirs down the hall. So we did that, and were there for 4 nights until we were told that we had to move to yet another apartment next door as they had a booking for the one we were in. They were both identical so I questioned why we had to move but they insisted. But lo and behold the AC wasn't working in that one either, and the roof was leaking rain water from a heavy downpour that day. Luckily the lovely cleaners were around so we explained the problem to them and they called the owner. Two men came and had a look at the AC about half an hour later then left. By this stage we wanted out and were frantically searching for alternative accommodation. I don't know if the AC was fixed that day. Thankfully we were able to speak to the owner on the cleaner's phone and she agreed to give us a refund. In summary, the situation was handled really badly. It would have helped if they had just moved us into the vacant apartment straight away and let us stay there. As it was we felt mucked around and stressed unnecessarily during our holiday. The most frustrating thing was having to wait for their responses and not being able to call. We wouldn't stay here again because of our experience but the location and surroundings are great and the apartment would be acceptable too if the amenities and communication were improved.
