My family and I spent an amazing, peaceful and relaxing two weeks at Mark and Jocelyn’s place. They are fantastic hosts, really nice and nothing is ever too much trouble. On arrival we had milk, a cold bottle of wine, home made fresh cookies, coffee, sugar, etc all ready in the property to make our first day as easy as possible. After use, Mark replaced the dirty bbq with a new clean one, which was amazing and Jocelyn changed all our bedding after the first week. The property (The Laiterie) had plenty of space and the kids loved swimming in the pool and play outdoors in the large garden. The surrounding area is beautiful and the weather was great. I highly recommend staying with Mark and Jocelyn.

From the moment of our arrival until it was time to depart, we had two wonderful weeks. The rural setting of the Gite means visiting Tours and Le Mans for example requires a 45 - 60 min drive, but if the weather is good there is some excellent entertainment in the vicinity as well. Our family (3 kids, 5 / 10 / 12 years old) had a wonderful time canoeing Le Loir and enjoying ourselves on the little beach in Marcon. We visited Tours, Le Mans and on another day we took the TGV from Le Mans to visit Paris as well. There are two parcs in Tours for Accrobranche, there's a forest nearby with some nice trails etc etc. Mark and Jocelyn are excellent hosts, helpful and thoughtful. Any problem that might arise is taken care of instantly. Communication is excellent: fast, friendly and clear. Thank you!

The house was easy to find, located down a country lane. The location really is breathtaking. We were given a warm welcome by Mark who gave us a quick run through of where everything was. Jocelyn had baked us the most amazing cookies, there was a beautiful bottle of wine in the fridge and tea, coffee, sugar and milk ready for us after a very long day. The house was absolutely beautiful, with the most amazing original beams. Literally everything you could possibly need is available to you. The gardens are incredible, we spent our evenings with the children in the pool and the adults enjoying food and and local wine. The views from the garden are really beautiful and it’s so peaceful. My children are 5 & 6 and loved having the freedom to roam the gardens and I didn’t need to worry. We borrowed the bikes that Mark and Jos provide and went on a family bike ride located just down the road on an old railway line. We absolutely loved our stay and cannot recommend Mark and Jos enough!

Grand gîte confortable et bien équipé en pleine nature. Accueil attentionné des propriétaires. La piscine, le trampoline et les jeux mis à disposition font la joie des enfants.

We had an amazing time at Les Aulnaies! Mark and Jos were great hosts - extremely helpful and caring. The gite is very spacious and comfortable, well equipped with everything you could possibly need. plenty of space for the family with two active kids in the house itself and outside especially. The pool was a massive hit with the kids, and so was the trampoline. we loved our holiday and will definitely be back!
