Some places you rate 5 stars out of politeness, this one was actually a solid 5/5. Check in was seamless, Giovanni was available with local recommendations, the apartment was spotless and shower/couch/everything was very modern and functional. I wish I had stayed longer so I could have had a chance to use the balcony which was nice too. If you compare the location to other options it may appear less central at first glance, but the difference is negligible and it’s well within quick walking distance of anything in Como. My partner and I come to the Como region about once per year and I think we will always try to stay here in the future if it’s available.

Me and my friends enjoyed our stay here. Very Accessible to the train station, restaurants, market, grocery store, to the lake and funicular. Very homely apartment, nice and clean. Good view of the mountain. secured building and apartment. Clean building too. We would love to stay here again.

Nice flat , really good location (just outside historic city walls) BUT for us , problems with basic facilities for our 4 day stay. Fridge was not working. Host offered "Cooler Bag" as alternative, but did not renew Ice Blocks daily , so this didn't help much. we wanted to self cater , cooking meals from fresh fish etc from local market, which was not really possible without a fridge. Host applied some compensation, but did not discuss how much. When I said I felt he should give more ( what is the right price for a self catering flat with no working fridge ?) Host suggested lack of a fridge was not a major problem for cooking etc. Along the way we also found some other facilities not working , including the clothes Iron (no function), the espresso maker (does not work with induction hob), the kettle (damaged lid) . All over a bit disappointing for us. Nice flat but needs better maintenance.

First, the pros: the location was great, 10 minutes walk to the Duomo of Como. The apartment was clean, the furniture is ok and the host is friendly. Overall great communication. Cons: We were unlucky to hit cold weather in Como as early May and the place was not warm enough as the apartment relies on central heating which was not working properly at this time of year. There is no air conditioning or other heating to compensate for such circumstances. Unfortunately, we found that there was a problem with the fridge, which was not cooling. In the description it says that there is a coffee maker, and there was one, but it was unusable due to the specifics of the operation of the ceramic hobs. 4 out of 5 overall. The apartment is good. Excellent location. In warm weather (or adding extra heating), after fixing the fridge problem and adding a capsule coffee machine (for example) the place would be perfect.

Stayed for the month, apartment is more than suitable for remote work with super fast broadband. I met Giovanni and Vale who were both lovely and very welcoming. No issues whatsoever. Can’t recommend the apartment anymore as everything is within walking distance.
