I moved (back) to Germany from the US with an overprotective dog and a geriatric cat. Having an initial base was priceless. Everything is modern and spacious. The place was squeeky clean and getting cleaned on request when I was out walking the dog. Kitchen items that had gone missing with previous visitors were replaced promptly. The hosts were very helpful sorting out all kind of problems I ran into - such as the mailman putting my mail into their mailslot, getting recycling done .... The place has no sofa inside (as you can clearly see on the photos), but two large, comfortable beds. The covered outside terrace has a good sized table and an outdoor sofa that easily sits 4+; Walking trails in the forest and fields right across the street. Walking distance (<10 minutes) to 3 supermarkets, 3 bakeries, doctors, vets, 2 animal supply stores, 2 icecream places, farmers market, 2 tram stations that get you to Ettlingen, Karlsruhe and the main black forrest. Couldn't have been better.

From the photos and description we were led to think that the apartment had 2 bedrooms and living room. Since we were 5, it lacks a bit of privacy for the one who stay in the bedroom with table and TV. It would be nice as well if it had a bigger couch. Since the weather was bad most of the time, we couldn’t profit much from the outside space. The apartment has everything you need and the hosts were really helpful if we needed anything.
