Sophia's place is about 15-30 minutes away from the AFI theatre in silver spring by car. You have your own parking space. Host is very responsive and her room is a restful space. Great options for folks who are attending AIRP.

Sophia and her family made me feel like home! Is a pretty and quite place, is located very close to the bus stop I will go back if I have to go to silver spring again!

Sophia and her family were amazing hosts. I stayed with them for 2 weeks in between moving down from NYC and moving into my apartment in DC. Everyone was open and helpful at all times. I work in DC and had to commute from Silver Spring each day. While the commute was long (1.5 hours to Rosslyn metro) it was completely doable and convenient as the bus stopped right on the corner. There also is an express bus that is accessible within 5 minutes via the Z6 bus going toward the Park and Ride area. Sophia is kind and helpful and the best Airbnb host I have stayed with in America. I highly suggest staying in her home.

This is a nice place to stay in. With ease of access to the bus to Silver Spring and the metro, it is ideal for a quiet get away. Sophie is a nice host and I hope to return someday to the place.
