My husband and I are bird watchers, and desert, food, and music lovers. Ingeborg's place is very close to the northern entrance of Joshua Tree park, chock full of interest for aficionados of desert botany, hiking, photography, anthropology, and geology. It is also close to the Morengo Park Canyon Reserve, another birdwatching hot spot. Ingeborg practices what I think of as 'AirBnB Clean,' a degree of cleanliness only achieved by successful AirBnB hosts, ie immaculate. Besides the cute bedroom and bathroom with a nice big bathtub (where I enjoyed a glorious soak), visitors have their own small mini-kitchen, with a fridge and microwave. Ingeborg provides all the basics for a picnic in the spacious, shady courtyard: Plates, cutlery, coffee cups, wine glasses, wine opener, napkins, etc. At the end of a day exploring Joshua Tree, you can spend hours revelling in the spectacular spangle of night skies. That, or joining the locals, each and every one of which seem to be rabid music fans, at Joshua Tree's legendary bar catching both the latest and greatest musicians. (Google it, then buy tickets because they sell out.) Thanks Ingeborg! I can't wait to come back! PS: As for food, get top quality picnic supplies at Roadrunner Grab and Go, the coffee shop next to the JT Park visitors center.

Super close to the park entrance off park road. I was able to be there in 5 mins for a sunrise hike! Super communicative and accommodating host. The yard space was ultra relaxing and gets some nice sun throughout the day. Comfy bed and perfect water pressure in the shower!

Amazing apartment very close to the west entrance of the national park! Lovely furniture and an awesome host with excellent communication and very good check-in experience. Can recommend!
