This is an excellent getaway spot by the water. The small apartment has a small and well outfitted kitchen, a clean and spacious bathroom, and sitting area with a a view. When driving in, I recommend taking the driveway very slow especially if you don’t have four wheel drive. The location is very nice, and is about a twenty-minute drive from Rockland.

Great location on the coast, a 15-minute drive from restaurants in Thomaston and 20 minutes from Rockland. Beautiful property with a view.

Nice one bedroom garage apartment with everything you would need to cook and relax. Right on the St George river. Complete with a lobsterman hauling his traps a couple of late mornings I was there. Comfortable bed, clean. Bob provided me with a great space.

Bob’s place was perfect for our quick stay. He was very accommodating and helpful for our arrival.

View is inaccurate. Also description. Large trees and bushes hid view of water. Lots of old stuff laying all around property like boat trailers, old logs and wood. Grass only cut around driveway area. The rest was overgrown with weeds and bushes. The very narrow, long dirt driveway was overgrown with brush, trees and picker bushes that scratched our vehicle. Driveway was two tire tracks and extremely narrow!!! The appearance of the whole property was awful and not inviting or looking like a place to visit let alone stay. The living area was ok. It was clean but not nearly as well as even a modest hotel room. Not well appointed and nothing in it for me to give a good review. However, Bob was friendly but did not respond to any of our text. I would not recommend the place. Smoke alarm missing in bedroom.
