Kat is a wonderful host!!!! Communication was great and response quick. She was very accommodating! Her place is in a great neighborhood, a couple of blocks from the beautiful Crystal River and with a great view of Mt. Sopris from her hot tub. We went for skiing the Aspen resorts and it is an easy drive to them. The City Market grocery is four or five blocks away. Her place was well stocked with kitchen utensils as well as things like coffee & even dental floss in the bathroom! Highly recommended and we'd love to stay with Kat again!!

I stayed for six weeks during a research sabbatical, and I needed a quiet studio where I could do my writing, but also do some skiing. Kat’s place exceeded my expectations! I had a quiet, comfortable writing space, great views of Sopris and a small, well-equipped kitchen. It was very convenient to go grocery shopping, and the Carbondale Park and Ride was a short drive away. The neighborhood itself is very quiet and friendly and I enjoyed daily long walks around the area. Kay herself is an amazing host—on my first day I arrived late and she left a yummy dinner plate in the fridge for me to reheat. She often went above and beyond and I enjoyed her company throughout my stay, but she also understood when I wanted to lay low to get work done, etc. Her dogs are adorable, so that was another highlight. In general, I would definitely recommend for a solo traveler, writer/artist’s retreat, or couple who doesn’t mind a small space. Thanks, Kat, for making my skibattical an amazing experience!

Kat’s place is perfect spot for two people to enjoy a ski trip to all four of the resorts in Aspen. 🎿⛷️ Here you’ll find all the comforts of home!🏡 We definitely will return — the sooner the better! Thanx! 😎

Kat herself was awesome! Loved the place and for folks like ourselves who like to partially make our own meals, she had it stocked perfectly. Very home-like and comfortable, great location and perfect hostess! We’ll definitely be back!

Kat is so friendly, with loads of information personally, and in the home manual. This cozy apartment was in a quiet neighborhood, just a few minutes' walk from the town center. The entire apartment was well-stocked with beverage options, cooking implements / spices, so we were able to get groceries at the City Market 3 minutes' walk away, and prepare our own food. The bathroom was also well-stocked with toiletries, oral and personal hygiene products, in case you forgot them. The bed was firm, and pillows cushy. The TV was viewable from anywhere in the apartment. We didn't take advantage of the hot tub in the back yard, but it did look inviting. It was like staying at your friend's place. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring Carbondale and local hikes / easy walks with gorgeous views, from this home base. We would definitely stay here again.
