We had a good time at the Vergennes House. This old farm house sits on a knoll overlooking the local farms and the Adirondack Valley. Quite a stunning location. The house is old with some fun and comfortable places to enjoy. The sitting room by the kitchen was light and airy with a wonderful view. The kitchen was was missing a couple of amenities for which our hosts apologized and said they were working toward fixing. The small clean bathroom was for us a fun talking point. The main bedroom had a very comfortable king size bed. Humorously, I had to use a small stack of books to get onto it because it was about three feet off the floor. The second bedroom does not have much privacy, but that is common in many Airbnbs. John and Nancy are kind and responsive hosts. With a few minor changes this would be a great fun place to stay.

Nancy and John were friendly and welcoming, and their historic home is in a beautiful location. The views from the yard showcase the best of rural Vermont! This home feels spacious, the kitchen is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The single bathroom is quite small but does the job. This is a farmhouse, so expect a few insects and an occasional mouse.

Rustic, cozy but not updated accommodations. Open floor layout. Good location. Nice and responsive owners.

A great country home, with amazing views. We would love to try it during fall as well! Nancy and John are great hosts and were very toughtful.
