This house is perfect. It is very well laid out and has everything you would need - kitchen equipment, utilities, barbecue, the stuff you would need for it, etc... There were even board games. The small pool is just about the right size to cool you down and to let a 6 year old play on its own. Despite the houses around you also get a feeling of privacy. And the view... the view is stunning, really. Location is also good. You get to the house via a dirty road but every car will do it. Within 10mins by foot you can get to the 2 taverns we found nearby. If you take your car, again in 10-15mins, you can get to supermarkets, bakery, fish store. Closest beach is within 20mins by car but if you prefer a not so busy one you might need to drive an hour to the South or 1.5hours to the East coast. In all cases you'd better ask Stathis. Both Stathis and Lina are very friendly and responsive and can give you great tips. We even managed to order a birthday cake for our daughter :) We liked the place so much that we extended our stay for two more nights in another villa. The villa was situated just above this one. It was even better - more spacious, bigger pool, even better view. Villa is called Iris.

I stayed in the early fall and was blown away by the beauty of the area (foliage, dense forest, waterfalls and pools, fire salamanders!, all with a sweeping ocean view with 5 rows of mountains in the distance), the villages (these are the real deal), the walks, and of course the house itself, which was as cozy as I could have imagined. Stathis is an outstanding host – from his knowledge of the area and suggestions to the quality of the food he's selected for the first breakfast, the linens, tasteful style, and high-quality everything that you could possibly need. I don't think it was made clear on the other reviews, but there is a footpath just at the end of the road that the house is on that leads you straight into the village in about a 3 minute walk. Once you're there, there are amazing eating options in either direction on the main road, all with insane views. It's kind of mind blowing how good the food is (in every village) when you consider their size. I am craving Stefanos' (just past the main square on the left) tsipouro and mezes right now. Anyway – super comfortable beds, screens on some of the windows so you can leave them open at night, amazing tap water, great water pressure / heat, spotless. All those little things you can't tell from pictures or descriptions. They're all great here. Highly recommend this home, and I'm sure Stathis' others are just as amazing.

Wir – zwei Erwachsene und unsere fünfjährige Tochter – können unsere Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Alles hat den Beschreibungen entsprochen oder sie gar übertroffen. Die Aussicht und die Ruhe war famos. Und die Pilion-Region ist unbedingt eine Reise wert. Wie der Schwarzwald – nur mit Sandstränden. Wir werden sicher eines Tages zurückkehren und dieses wunderbare Stückchen Erde nochmals genießen. Die Gastgeber – Stathis und Dimi – haben sich wunderbar gekümmert, sogar an ein Geburtstagsgeschenk für unsere Tochter haben sie gedacht und uns mit wertvollen Tipps für die Region versorgt, heimische, ungespritze Äpfel vorbei gebracht und einfach griechische Herzlichkeit an den Tag gelegt. Danke für eure tolle Gastfreundschaft. Wir werden jedem von diesem Urlaub und unserer Unterkunft vorschwärmen.
