What an awesome little spot in the Sacred Valley. Everything is just like you see in the pictures and the whole atmosphere of the place really fits in with the Sacred Valley setting! David and his family are incredibly generous and hospitable; when I first arrived it was lunch time so I got to join them for some home-cooked Peruvian food. The place itself is very clean, safe, and peaceful. WiFi was also pretty reliable and the kitchen has pretty much everything you could need to make a meal. Didn’t use the shower while I was there but it seemed to be in working order. Highly recommend staying here if you’re traveling through the Sacred Valley!

From the moment I walked through the door I felt right at home. It's everything you could wish for from an airbnb and then some more! A truly hidden little gem, which I recommend highly!

David and his family were the most wonderful hosts. They have a beautiful garden and home, that they are very gracious in sharing. We had a problem in our first room on the night of our arrival, and they were extremely accommodating as to move us to a different room without question. The kiddos are a blast to hang with— so smart and playful. David is full of knowledge and you can get lost in conversation for hours. my el was the sweetest- making us pancakes in the morning and always inviting us in for coffee. If we’re ever back through Calca this is a place we wouldn’t miss.

David is practically a destination in himself, raucous, witty and fun.  His wife Mabel is incredibly sweet and makes some delicious food at their cafe at the main plaza.  The gardens were a welcoming hang out spot to enjoy music with other guests with an incredible mountain backdrop to set the mood. Most that stop seem to stay a while and we wish we had more time too. The town and market was authentic Peru and a welcome reprieve from the tourist trappings and associated hustle found in other towns in the valley. This place won’t stay off the map for long.  Gracias David!

Such a nice couple! Extremely warm and friendly. We had a bit of difficulty finding the apartment bu found a friendly local to help us, no big deal! We were upgraded to a much bigger and brighter room upon arrival. Nice hot shower and comfortable bed! The garden was beautiful to relax in and we loved having a kitchen to cook breakfast as there aren’t many options in town for breakfast! The family also owns an amazing vegetarian restaurant in town which was basically the only place we ate at. You must try it! A great place to stay in Calca :)
