Fantastic place! Numerous rooms and bathrooms. Great kitchen. Fergus is an excellent host and quick to respond. Highly recommend. Will use again.

What a great weekend! The Old Mill was perfect for our family reunion. It had lots of room for the whole party - the house is huge, and was equipped with everything we needed, the beds particularly comfy and the games room a mega plus. The architecture and features have been restored in a fabulous way, the surroundings were also lovely with the stream. It’s in a great location also, 10 mins to Coleraine with all key supermarkets and 20 mins to the Causeway coast. Communication was great from Fergus and we’d love to come back again.

We were a group of 12 guys on a golf trip in Northern Ireland. The Flax Mill location was great with easy access to Portstewart, Royal Portrush and Castlerock (probably others as well). We also did a day tour in Belfast. We stayed here for 5 nights and then stayed in hotels when we traveled south to play closer to Dublin. To a man everyone liked the communal nature of staying in our own place versus going off to separate rooms as you do in a hotel. The bedrooms at the Flax Mill were good with comfortable beds; can easily sleep 12 and likely 16, all in separate beds. The main living room with the fireplace was very comfortable and the perfect venue for pre-dinner cocktails and post-dinner relaxing. On the subject of dinner, we had Sarah from The Little Pink Kitchen in Belfast cater for all 5 nights and she was brilliant; would highly recommend. The dining table in the kitchen was great for 12 (and a very impressive piece of stone); not sure how it would fare for a larger group. Fergus was great to deal with during the booking process, while we were there and afterwards. We had asked if he could arrange to pre-stock the house with some food and beverages and what was arranged was perfect. There were a few small issues that I've communicated to Fergus as to how he could improve the stay for future guests -- things like getting the kitchen a little better organized, tidying up the outside a bit, some WiFi coverage issues, etc. but for our group, these didn't detract from our stay in any meaningful way. For a group of golfers, it was great !

The Old Flax Mill is everything you’ve seen on the website photos and more! The building is impressive , maintaining its authenticity through thoughtful decor and unique furniture pieces. There is plenty of space to both enjoy a big family reunion or retreat to the private ensuite comfortable bedrooms for an afternoon nap! Great location, within 30 -40 minutes driving time from the main Northern Ireland attractions - Giants Causeway, Carrick- a-Rede Rope Bridge, Bushmills Distillery and if course the unique Dark Hedges! Bring good hiking shoes and have fun exploring the Antrim Coast in all its wild beauty!
