the house was okay. the pool area was not very clean. need a proper wash. the mattress of the main bedroom was old. it gave me backaches every day. needs to be changed. the house had a drainage smell. it maybe due to the lack of use but it took 2 days to go away. so it needs to be aired out more often especially before guests come. we enjoyed the quite garden but it is in a busy road so at night we could hear cars constantly passing by from the main bedroom. the house overall is nice but needs some improvement. thanks

We had a great week exploring Malta. The location of the house is interesting since we are close to everything. Note a parking space just in front of the house. The swimming pool and the terrace are particularly pleasant to relax after a good day. On the other hand, the house remains noisy right next to a very busy road. the bedding should also be changed. Very pleasant communication with the hosts who have always been available, responsive and friendly.

A lovely house. Ideally suited for a family with a hire car. Taxi/Uber etc are available and buses nearby. The pool was lovely and clean. Kids in it at least twice a day. It’s cleaned twice a week it said in the info. Overall a rustic, farmhouse feel, which didn’t worry us. It wasn’t slick/modern, but that’s not what we were looking for either. All plugs were 3 pin Type G (same as UK). The villa is listed on G Maps (Villa Strawberry Hills) which helps you easily get back after a day sightseeing. Air conditioning was v effective and welcome. You need to be fairly slick at reverse parking to get in the drive - the road is fairly steady with traffic. However people were generally good to give you a chance to get in. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Step to main bedroom steep so just be careful. But it’s farmhouse charm! We were at the supermarket anyway so got washing machine liquid, dishwasher tablets and more soap & loo rolls. Overall, good value, good location & enjoyable

The highlight of the accommodation is definitely the private pool. Although the pool was slightly dirty, we were happy enough with what was provided especially since we were upgraded to a better and bigger Airbnb (due to some internet problems). Would definitely stay here again :)

Fantastic stay - would definitely stay again next time we visit Malta!
