Spacious apartment with sea view, air-con & Wifi Close to Estepona port with direct beach access Apartment, Beachfront. 2 bed 2 bath sleeps 4 Located: Veramar, Estepona, Estepona Port, Malaga This apartment is highly recommended due to its breathtaking sea views. It is located within the Veramar apartment complex on the sea front, with direct access to Playa del Cristo from the pool area. This urbanisation is always maintained to a high standard throughout and has a good feel to it for holiday makers. The apartment is south-west facing and the small balcony provides a great view of the beach and sea. The lounge is a good size and has a large comfortable sofa facing the 52 inch flat screen, on the small balcony there are amazing sea views with a dining area for four guests. The kitchen is very well equipped with all mod cons and provides a nice dining area for six guests. There is also a family bathroom with shower accessed from this area. The en-suite master bedroom has a super king size bed with air conditioning while the second bedroom has two single beds that can be joined together to form a double. The apartment is fully air conditioned. The TV programmes are provided in a selection of languages plus extra English spoken programmes via a private satellite system including Sky and videos on demand along with a fibre optic internet connection. The communal swimming pool is located next to the sea and there is private access down to the sandy beaches from here. Secure parking in the community grounds is also available on a first come, first served basis. There is additional on-street parking about 100 meters from the apartment building. This apartment offers high standard accommodation next to the beach within walking distance of many bars, restaurants and supermarkets.
The apartment is really nice. Beautiful and well equipped. It is also well located, right next to the beach. The building pool´s views of the beach are astonishing. And the environment is really quiet and appealing for some calm holdays. However, it must be said that the apartment is ran by a Toursim Agency that seems to manage the flats of many owners. This leads to situations where if you have a problem, they first need to contact the owner because they don´t really know the flat that well. For example, there were some bulldozers on the beach while we were there, and were never warned about this little disruption before arriving. The agency said they only knew about it by the end of July. But they still would have had some time to warn us... Then, the A/C had a timer to turn off that could not be changed by us. And it took many days for the agency to take care of this. Overall, the property and location are great. But the management and communications of the agency could improve.
The 5th floor apartment was spacious, comfortable and well equipped as listed in the description. Views from the balcony took in the immediate bay and across to Gibraltar and was very private. The pool set in landscaped gardens was a wonderful facility. We could access the beach from the gardens and this provided a short and enjoyable path to the port with its many restaurants and supermarket. Whilst Veramar has private parking, we found it easy to get around on foot and by the local bus services. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring Estepona - a very well set out resort with a beautiful old town.
Lovely apartment by the beach. If i should mention something i missed : Sun chairs and umbrella to bring to the beach. It is 10 euro to rent a sun lounger at the beach bars.
The apartment development of Veramar is built adjacent to Playa del Cristo, one of the loveliest and most popular beaches on the coast, just to the west of the port area. It is ideally situated for access to the town centre and the motorway heading to Gibraltar and Malaga. Estepona port is a ten minute walk and is home to numerous great bars and restaurants plus two large supermarkets. You can also hire boats from the port or enjoy walking around the Sunday morning craft market. The town centre is an enjoyable 20 minutes walk further along the seafront. Here you will find many shops in the main shopping street plus many more pretty Spanish bars and restaurants. Estepona is a good central point for those looking to base themselves somewhere with nice beaches with plenty of things to do whilst being able to go exploring more of the cost such as Puerto Banus, and Marbella old town or Gibraltar and Morocco. Supermarkets, shops, restaurants and bars all within a 10 minute walk.
