We had a very nice time at Dunrovin Ranch. We came for a relaxing few days out in the valley, and we found it.
Excellent place to relax and enjoy some peace by the river. Super hosts and will definitely e back!
We loved staying at the ranch! The accommodations were very clean and comfortable and had plenty of space. It was such a treat to get to visit the horses in the pasture and walk to the river. SuzAnne was a wonderful and kind host with so much intel and experience to share.
We enjoyed SuzAnne's little sanctuary at Dunrovin Ranch. It was quiet with gorgeous 360 views. Along the crystal clear Bitterroot river, secret gardens and picnic tables dotted around. We went on a horseback ride with her healthy, solid horses and enjoyed the peace and quiet otherwise. And so close to Missoula for when we wanted to go in town. The murphy beds were awesome, plenty of room for everyone! Having a complete kitchen was very nice. No fancy cook wear, but everything we needed! We loved staying on Dunrovin and would definitely go back!! Breath the fresh air, see the mountains, rivers, sweet herd and meeting and speaking SuzAnne was a highlight too! Wise and wonderful woman providing a very sweet spot indeed!
Sterling and Suzanne were extremely hospitable. We loved visiting with them and learning about their webcams and all the environmental things they are doing to preserve wildlife and provide socialization for the elderly as well. The place is lovely, quiet, serene and full of wildlife. We tubed down the river and visited the hot springs as well during our two day stay. Of course the horseback riding and interaction with the horses was the highlight for the three teenage girls with us. We will be back to visit again! Thank you so much for a lovely mini vacation!

SuzAnne M. Miller, a native of Butte, Montana, has over 35 years of experience in biometric, biological, social science, and economic research, project administration and management, and state, federal, and international government service. She attended the University of Montana and graduated from the University of Washington, where she did graduate work in biomathematics. SuzAnne has an extensive background in both quantitative and qualitative research methods. Her career focus has been on integrating socioeconomic information into natural resource public policy discussions and development. She currently owns Dunrovin Research which offers socioeconomic research focused on the human dimensions of natural resource management. SuzAnne’s work and life passions have taken her to the back country and wild lands of some the world’s most beautiful places: Alaska, Canada, the Arctic, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe. But no place captures her heart quite like Montana. Her love of animals – especially dogs and horses – and of her great state prompted her to open a second business, Dunrovin Ranch which is a full service guest ranch and equestrian club offering unique back country equestrian adventures on smooth-gaited Tennessee Walking Horses. The installation of a web camera for a joint science project with the University of Montana eventually lead SuzAnne to staking out a special space in cyber space with the world’s first cyber ranch at DaysAtDunrovin.
