We decided to take a long weekend at Yolande’s with our daughter and son in law and 2 grandkids (one of just 5 weeks old)… we couldn’t have made a better decision. It was wonderful and just what was needed for a slow unwind listening to the sounds of nature and nothing else. The amenities are great, the camp layout is fantastic and gave great spaces for mingling and socialising but also lovely private areas to sleep and read and whatever is your fancy. The pool area is also worth a mention - although its not a large pool for a serious swimmer, it is ideal for a cool down and place to play with the grandkids. Access to the camp is fairly easy considering its location - Although a normal car will make it there it might be a little more difficult if its been raining, 4x4 recommended in my opinion. Yolande was fantastic from start to finish and couldn’t have been more helpful if she tried. The onsite help was nothing short of perfect too… We simply can’t wait to go back! Thanks Yolande

This was my second time staying here (of hopefully many more). Awesome place, feels like you have a whole boutique lodge to yourself. Mary took great care of us. We loved thoughtful touches like hot water bottles in our beds at night.

My family loved our weekend stay at Olomayiana! It's rare in Kenya to find an accommodation set up with individual rooms (tents and stand-alone buildings) that is still private, self-catering, and reasonably priced. We really appreciated this unique experience! Additionally, there's a fabulous pool, nice sundowner hike, friendly and well cared-for horses, hammocks galore, and even a very fun charcoal pizza oven. Bring your dough! Biking excursions are also worthwhile, though we mainly stayed on the main dirt road, so I can't comment about narrower trails. The team was very helpful and took care of us, while also giving us plenty of space and privacy.
