巴思 · 整套客房 · 1室1床1.5卫 · 可住2人 · Country to city a 20 min walk - private apartment
This a quiet and beautiful space (bedroom en-suite, kitchen, living space, garden and off road parking included), set in a rural location with stunning views across Bath fields yet within a robust 20 minute walk down to the historic city-centre of Bath (we suggest a taxi home as it is uphill all the way back). Newly renovated, it is a calm, clean and inspiring self catered space for two, decorated in vintage-meets-modern fabrics and furniture. Breakfast ingredients for your first morning incl. The apartment is a 'vintage meets modern', self-contained and self-catered space including a kitchen, open plan living room and dining area and separate bedroom with en-suite shower/bathroom. People who have stayed here have said how much they love that we are not in the centre of Bath and while they enjoyed touring the city, its attractions and great restaurants, the apartment is a perfect retreat at the end of the day, and waking up to the peace and quiet is the perfect conclusion (except for birdsong of course and in Spring, the cry of newborn lambs in neighbouring fields)! Enjoy meals when you want, uninterrupted, whilst looking out on the surrounding gardens and wildlife spotting and where you want; in bed, at the table provided or on a sunny day, outside in the private garden. We will provide breakfast ingredients for your first morning. The apartment is newly renovated to a high standard. Decorated in fashionable ‘vintage meets modern’ fabrics and furniture which are both refreshing and calming, the accommodation provides luxurious space for one or two people to eat, sleep and relax, . There is a king-sized brass bed. The bathroom has a newly installed WC, washbasin and large, pressure maintained shower. Black-out lining and blinds have been incorporated to minimize your chances of being woken up too early! There is WIFI and a television with DVD in the bedroom and main living area. We offer an early check in time to allow people to enjoy Bath to the max - guests can collect keys from our key safe from 3pm and drop off your bags in your room. We are available via mobile phone most of the time and live next door to the accommodation should you require any assistance or have any questions.
Sally’s place was a perfect weeklong stop for our UK trip. The cottage is separate from the house in a beautiful location up a very steep hill. The views from the bedroom window are gorgeous. The interior was actually larger than I expected and looks exactly like the photos. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and wash up, the bed was comfy and Sally and Dave were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!
Beautiful accommodation - quiet, clean, warm and very comfortable. Sally was a perfect host - responsive, friendly and welcoming. Has all amenities, including washer and dryer. Bed was extremely comfortable. Easy parking available and bus is a short walk away. Would recommend to anyone visiting Bath and its surroundings.
There are several places to eat within easy walking distance of Foxhill Lodge. Highly recommended for great pub fare are The White Hart in Widcome and The Forester & Flower in Combe Down, and for something a little grander - and a little further afield - then Combe Grove Manor is well worth a visit.
For keen walkers and cyclists, countryside walks, the Bath Skyline and the Bath Two Tunnels Circuit are all easily accessible nearby. Cycles can be securely stored on the property.
Sightseeing spots in and around the World Heritage City of Bath include Prior Park Landscape Garden, the Bath Fashion Museum and The Holburne Museum of Art. If you're looking for some history you can take a tour around the Roman Baths, discover the stories of Combe Down Stone (the material from which the City was built), or visit the grand Bath Abbey.
Don't miss the opportunity to unwind in the Thermae Bath Spa, Britain's original thermal spa, and bathe in the naturally warm, mineral-rich waters, as the Celts & Romans did over 2000 years ago…
The No. 13 bus travels from the bus station on Dorchester Street every 20 minutes to a bus stop five minutes walk to Foxhill Lodge.
Taxis can be hailed at the railway station or from next to the Abbey and should cost no more than £6 to deliver you to Foxhill Lodge. Most taxis can take a maximum of four passengers, but larger cars are available by calling a local taxi company, or by visiting one of the offices either on Monmouth Street or South Parade. Speak to me if you would like me to book you a taxi.

I am a full time mum and part time life coach and Airbnb host. I have lived in Bath for over 10 years with my husband, two children, our short-haired german pointer and chickens. We love where we live which if a fabulous balance of rural surroundings and yet is a 'stones throw' from M&S. I love running when I can and there are some fantastic flat runs nearby. I love travelling - after the event - and box sets!
