We intended to stay at Penelope's place for our entire stay in Mexico City, but it didn't work out. The apartment is spacious and had everything we needed in terms of cooking, sleeping, working. The water in the building was on and off for almost the whole stay (there's a shortage). About a week and a half into our reservation, the internet went out. Penelope was as supportive and communicative as she could have possibly been, but unfortunately Telmex didn't get out to fix the service until a week later. Penelope had another place to share with us that had better water service and working internet. It was a really small loft apartment which presented it's own challenges (traveling back and forth between the old and new apartment, and both of us conducting meetings from a small room). It also just wasn't the experience we booked. Ultimately I think these were two freak accidents. Give it another shot if it fits your budget. Penelope is a great host and extremely friendly person.

Our host Penelope was very communicative and very helpful. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and in a great location in Roma Norte. Access to everything needed was very close. We appreciated the help with the filtered water replacement. The apartment was quiet at night.

Penelope’s place is nestled on a quiet but well located street in roma Norte. She was so kind and helpful with everything. And she even greeted me with welcome gifts! This apartment had everything I needed - hot showers, an extremely comfortable bed, fantastic internet and peaceful nights. And the location is perfect. It does get a bit cold during the winter but I wasn’t home much anyway. Highly recommend!

Penelope’s place was great. She met us which allowed for a smooth check in. She answered any questions quickly throughout our stay. We enjoyed her place, which was bigger than we expected and was stocked well. The bed was comfortable and the showers were quick but hot. Excellent location and super clean. We’d stay here again.
