Literally steps away from the beach, this place is phenomenal; you can hear the ocean from the balcony. Very easy to get to and a robust visitor’s guide made this visit fantastic. Every recommendation listed we tried was great. Place was very clean with plenty of the basics on hand. David, the host, is very good to make sure everything is top shape for you. I appreciated how easy it was to reach him had we needed to. Will definitely stay again!

My daughter and I, along with our two dogs, travelled 389 miles to stay at David's place (appropriately called " Sunchaser") on Emerald Isle (EI). We have been coming to EI since 1987 and know it very well as we are part-owners of another house on the ocean about 4 miles from David's place. To say we were impressed is an understatement. The cleanliness of the house and organization of everything was amazing. One can tell that David deeply cares about the experience of those people who decide to come and stay at his place. As i did do some work while I was there, using my laptop and phone, the office was the perfect space, size-wise and with the view of the ocean. If we need to come down again when our place is not available, we would definitely choose "Sunchaser".

Our stay at David's place was nothing short of exceptional. David's hospitality is unmatched, with prompt responses and genuine care for his guests. The house is cozy, clean, and spacious, offering a perfect retreat in an ideal location. It provided us with everything we needed, even on rainy days with a variety of indoor activities. Thanks so much, David, for one of our best Airbnb stays yet!

Our stay was wonderful. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets and star gazing. Kids loved the downstairs play area.
