Just a short drive from Bled the property offers guests a studio for two on the ground floor, One Bedroom Apartment in the underground floor and a duplex apartment with terrace in the upper floor. All are a comfortable size as they have a furnished sleeping area, kitchen and private bathroom. Outside is a lovely green spacious garden. The property is perfect for going out to explore the area as there are mountain trails to hike, roads to cycle and cultural heritage to experience. Located underground the One Bedroom Apartment is accessed by stairs and offers a comfortable stay as it has a comfy bedroom with a double bed, sofa and TV for entertainment. The private bathroom is located opposite to the bedroom and is equipped with a walk in shower, toilet, sink with mirror, washing machine with dryer and all small necessities such as toilet paper and towels. Adjacent to the bathroom is the kitchen which has a refrigerator with freezer, a small vitro cheramic stove, sink, kitchen utensils for cooking and a small dining area for two. Outside guests can make use of outdoor furniture to sit around on the sunshine and enjoy the mountain view in the distance.

The Room is a sweat little place located in the basement with a very kind host. Perfect place to start hiking trips. We enjoyed our stay very much.
The host was really friendly and the checkin and -out was smooth. The description of the apartment can lead to misunderstandings, because it is placed in the sutterain and not on the ground floor. You have everything what you need for a short trip.

Žirovnica is surrounded by the Alps, meadows and forests that are just beckoning for outdoor recreation such as the Julijana trail or exploring caves such as Turkish cave in Gozdašnica. The Žirovnica Cultural Heritage Path connects the birth houses of some of Slovenia’s literary giants as well as the apiary of the pioneer of European beekeeping.
The area also holds festivals such as KašArt, a summer festival of art, which is a combination of stories, poetry, popular music and spending time outdoors, as well as being an opportunity to socialise with friends while discovering a wealth of cultural heritage.

The Žirovnica Cultural Heritage Path connects the birth houses of some of Slovenia’s literary giants (the greatest Slovenian poet France Prešeren, his friend the linguist and scholar Matija Čop, and the writers Fran Saleški Finžgar and Janez Jalen), as well as the apiary of the pioneer of European beekeeping, Anton Janša. It is one of the most beautiful theme paths in Slovenia.
It is best guests have their own vehicle to get around. Public transport is available with a bus stop 350 meters away.
