Spacious but cosy garden retreat with King size bed, comfy new sofabed, workstation, kitchen, TV, good WiFi, shower room and private garden. Private parking. Hotel style linen and towels. Quiet, peaceful, comfortable and stylish.

Harbour Den was exactly as described, spotlessly clean and comfortable, perfect for exploring Whitstable and surrounding areas, we had a great time and would highly recommend staying at this property.

The Harbour Den is a lovely place to stay for a trip to Whitstable. The location was ideal and only a short walk from cafes, the high street and the seafront. Check-in was seamless and communication from Tim was really friendly and clear ahead of our visit. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Whitstable!
Tim and Jane are great hosts, the Den was perfect for our needs, cozy and very stylish and also in a fantastic location for exploring . Having our own private garden area was lovely and would be great in better weather. A really lovely place to stay for a few days.

3 minutes walk to Whitstable harbour and beach yet a quiet, green, leafy space. Private and peaceful yet minutes from the lovely Harbour Street and High Street for excellent shopping and dining.
Canterbury and Margate with the Turner Gallery are a 20 and 30 minute drive away respectively. The historic market town of Faversham and seaside town of Herne Bay are both nearby. The Roman fort of Reculver is 20 minutes away by car. The heritage East Kent Railway is 30 minutes by car.
Boat trips operate from the Harbour to the WWII sea defence Maunsell Forts, once home to pirate radio stations of the 1960s. Or you can visit a local seal colony, or take a trip around Whitstable bay in a vintage lifeboat. Water sports are popular and equipment can be hired close by.
If you don’t want to cycle or drive, the regular No 4 bus also runs near the property and goes directly to Canterbury for a day out at the Cathedral or for shopping or the theatre. The train station is a 7 minute walk away with direct trains to London Victoria or London St Pancras International in just over an hour.
