Booked the blue room extremely last minute for a wedding down the road, Valerie was extremely helpful. We requested to drop our bags earlier due to timings with the wedding and she was happy to accommodate us even though we were probably being a bit of a pain in the bum with being so last minute! the room was beautifully decorated, small but had everything we needed, bed was extremely comfortable. Had a nice range of teas and some nice cakes. Valerie was very knowledgeable about the local area and was able to recommend places for breakfast. We felt very welcome at at home here and would certainly like to visit again when we would have more time to explore! Thank you again!

We spent 2 nights at Holly tree cottage and both nights were exceptional. The room was immaculate and nicely decorated. The provided breakfast was delicious and both hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again!

The room was stunning with thoughtful touches. It was pristine! There was a mini fridge which was stocked with drinks to purchase which was handy. I wish we could have stayed longer and we will most definitely be returning.

Valerie and Andrew were lovely, kind, warm people. She was helpful,. The breakfast was well worth the cost and plenty of it. The room was spotless, it felt very cosy. She was very informative about the area. Would recommend the accomodation to anyone.

A very elegant room, recently refurnished with taste and so is the bathroom. Every thing is spotless. The mattress is so confortable . I wish I had one like that at home. We very much appreciated the view of the Pendal Hill from our window. Complimentary items are also offered. The house is in an area that has a beautiful architectural unity. Valerie is an extremely pleasant and helpful person. She really welcomes you, which is something you hardly ever find nowdays. She even offered to take us to the restaurant a few miles away just so we could keep the parking space right in front of the house ! Definitely a place we ll choose again, but to stay more than overnight, not only for a break on the way to Scotland. Air bnb should feel honored to have Valerie as host. It is thanks to persons like her that we stick to air bnb.
