The main level features a large open living room and dining room with a modern kitchen that includes an induction stove and dishwasher. It also has a full bath with shower and a separate sitting area that can be closed off to double as an additional bedroom. The spiral staircase leads to the upstairs, with two additional bedrooms and two full bathrooms (the master bath with a huge jacuzzi tub) as well as a laundry room. It comfortably sleeps 6 to 8 people Around the house you will find the original artwork of Mel Silverman, an American artist and the owner's father. He and his wife Sydel, an anthropologist, lived in Montecastello in the early 60s with their dog, Lolita. Mel's murals of caricatures of life here were once painted throughout the town's public spaces.
