My family and I enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday here. Although we had a wonderful time, I was honestly a little disappointed with my stay. The home is lovely, and so is its location. For the price they are asking per night I expected more. For example, there were 3 televisions in the house but only 1 TV actually worked. Might I add, the home has extremely outdated furniture and decor. I felt like I stepped into the 80’s when entering. The kitchen lacked the basics like a garbage can, and had chain locked cabinets. There was very little effort put into the bedrooms. One room even had a folding card table, instead of a nightstand. The house remained frigidly cold because the thermostat was locked and the temperature could not be raised. By the house being off the lake, it was constantly drafty. I felt for the price I was paying, I should at least be able to have heat. Lastly I would suggest bringing your own supplies. Overall, we made the best of it.
