Reconnect with nature and escape the daily grind in our spacious 4m bell tent, with all the creature comforts! You will sleep on the edge of a protected pine forest, eat from the organic vegetable garden, shower under the stars, and use private, luxury composting toilets as part of our effort to minimise our impact! Put your feet up in the shade of the stone pines, or jump into any number of outdoor activities on offer in the area! Whatever you choose, it’ll be an unforgettable experience! Stone Pines is a boutique, ecologically-focused Glamping retreat, offering an idyllic getaway for those who love being surrounded by nature, whilst nestled in the small rural community of San Ambrosio. We currently have three spacious and stylish 4m and 5m bell tents (available as singles, doubles, twins, and one triple), sleeping a total of 7 people. Check on host page to find other listings. We are a less-than-10-minute drive, or slightly longer bike ride along the new “Eurovelo 8” bikepath, from some of Spain's most wild and beautiful beaches! There are numerous activities that we can help you coordinate through local providers, so please just ask if there is something you want to do while here!

Vielen Dank Jake für den tollen Aufenthalt! Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt! Es ist ein wunderschöner Ort- mit einem gigantischen Blick auf Pinienwälder- ein Ort gestaltet mit viel Liebe, Respekt mit der Natur und Gespür für Details. Die Aussendusche ist sensationell. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit.
Hemos estado muy a gusto durante la estancia!! Una zona muy tranquila, y en la naturaleza. También esta cerca de las playas de Caños o Barbate. Jake como anfitrión es genial! Repetiremos!!!
Jake created a really cool and relaxing Glamping-space. The communication with Jake was easy and he's a really attentive and kind person :). I enjoyed the stay at this place and felt welcome. The description how to get there is good to find the way in daylight (for the night I recommend to use an offline map for navigation in addition, because the internet on the way to the appartment is temporarily not available). The furniture and decoration in the camp is really cool, it was always clean and I really like the concept of how Jake is creating an eco glamping. In addition on hot days it is very pleasant to chill in the hamocks under the pine tree. I definitly come back for holidays :).
Alojamiento ideal si tienes coche. Caños, Barbate a 10-15 minutos máximo. Alojamiento con mucho encanto y muy buen preparado en medio de una zona de pinares. El anfitrión muy atento.
Jake est juste génial !!! il mérite, il a beaucoup de goût et de perfection dans ce qu'il fait. on se reverra j'espère !

Stone Pines is situated in San Ambrosio, a small village spread along an old cattle road, on the edge of La Breña protected National Park and 3km inland from cliffs facing the sea adjoining the straits of Gibraltarwith the Atlantic.
We are more or less equidistant (10 min drive) from Barbate (working port) and Vejer de la Frontera (clifftop white town) and about 7 mins from Caños de Meca, an alternative (once hippie) hangout with its beautiful beaches and numerous restaurants and bars, in the shadow of the Trafalgar Lighthouse!
San Ambrosio boasts two "Ventas" (restaurant/bars), both a five minute walk from the property, that serve a selection of local dishes, as well as thin-crust pizzas!
The location is perfect for exploring the area, really well connected but tucked away from the hustle and bustle in the busy summer months!
There is onsite parking with no problem.
San Ambrosio does not have any public transport connections so a car is advisable is you are aiming to move around, go into town, to the shops or to the beach etc.
If you are not aiming to hire a car, an airport or other transport terminal pickup can be arranged for an additional fee. Likewise for excursions and activities while you are here.
