The Old Flower Shop is situated in the heart of Princes Risborough, a small market town in the Chilterns. Walking distance from the station, this cosy cottage dates back to the 18th century and is filled with character. With its wooden beams and modern finish, it's the perfect base to experience the Buckinghamshire countryside whilst being just 30 mins from London and Oxford. Guests are welcome to use the entire house, comprising of an open-plan living/ dining room and spacious kitchen on the ground floor. The Master Bedroom features a double bed and ensuite, with a shower and w/c. In addition, guests can enjoy a modern master bathroom with a bath. Outside, a well-designed cottage garden is the perfect space to relax in with a glass of wine or warm drink. The entire property is finished to a modern standard with unique, characterful elements.

A really lovely cottage in the centre of Prince's Risborough. Chloe and Bryony were amazing hosts who were always very responsive and helpful. It had everything we needed and was all spotless. Thank you!

Wonderful stay!
We had a lovely stay a Chloe’s home. Walkable from the station and easy to escape to the countryside for walks. Local area has all you need, quite a few shops and pubs all walkable distance. The house itself was just as described and perfect for the two of us- good size kitchen for cooking. The only downside was it being situated at on quite a busy and noisy road. Chloe was great at communicating, and responded immediately when we had any issues. Would recommend this place highly, if you can cope with a bit of noise when trying to sleep.
Chloé est une hôte très réactive qui donne des petits conseils pour les visites. Le gîte est très agréable et chaleureux. Vous trouverez tout le nécessaire pour votre séjour, cuisine complète, deux salles de bain dont une directement près dans la chambre. Dans le village, vous trouverez deux superettes (Coop et M&S) où vous pourrez aller à pied et un supermarché plus loin. Juste devant le gîte, il y a un petit pub sympathique. Pour se garer, vous aurez deux places non loin du gîte ou dans une rue plus loin.

Within a 5-10 minute walk, there are a wide variety of cafes, pubs and restaurants from the property. These include Italian restaurants, Indian restaurants, a wine bar, a creperie and many more. Take away is also available from many.
Shops:
The Old Flower Shop is approximately 100m from Prince's Risborough's high street which offers a selection of independent shops.Please note, many close on a Sunday. There are also several supermarkets within a short walking distance from the property.
Walks:
From The Old Flower Shop, the historic Whiteleaf Cross is approximately a 45 minute walk from which you can enjoy a stunning view of the Chilterns and surrounding areas. There are many further walks in the area. We would be happy to advise on these upon request.
Activities:
The local station offers a trip back in time with a steam train ride. The leisure centre with a pool and gym are also in walking distance. A short drive away, you can reach the towns of Aylesbury and High Wycombe with larger shops, cinemas etc as well as other market towns such as Great Missenden, Wendover and Thame. The Phoenix trail is an excellent place for cycling through the Chilterns.
Access to London/Oxford:
Princes Risborough train station is approximately 10-15 minutes away by foot or 3 minutes by car. From here, both Oxford, London are only 30-40 minutes away. Bicester Village is also accessible from this station for those wishing to shop!

Located at the top of Princes Risborough High Street and at the base of the Chilterns, a market town and beautiful walks are all in walking distance.
