Let Vayu Vista 5 be your home away from home, you can even bring your furry best friend! Located just 1.5 km from the Twelve Apostles and Gibson Steps we are the ideal location for those wanting to take in all the changing moods of our beautiful coastline, sunset, sunrise and everything in between! Your studio cabin has a long lost country warmth and all your basic amenities to make your stay comfortable and memorable. I’d like to begin by acknowledging the Traditional Owners of the Country on which Vayu Vista resides, the Kirrae Whurrong. I would also like to pay my respects to Elders past and present and emerging. Vayu Vista is set on land just off the Great Ocean Road. It is home to myself, my two dogs and my grown children. Two cabins are available for couples to rent and we are excited to share the beauty and warmth of our place with others. In our cabins we provide - all linen, blanket and towels - a small amount of instant coffee, tea and sugar (no milk) - oil, salt, pepper and paper towel - hand soap - toilet paper - kitchen items a shown in photos - gas bbq that can be used as an oven and has side gas burner - pizza stone for the bbq - a picnic basket with crockery/cutlery, containers blanket and thermos. Also folding chairs you can take for a day out or for star gazing. - books, jigsaws and textas/paper pencils if you get creative! - umbrella - vacuum cleaner and broom for sand/pet hair/spills -bucket and towels incase of accidents WE DO NOT PROVIDE ANY BATHROOM ITEMS SUCH AS SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER, BODY WASH, TOOTHPASTE, SHOWER CAPS ETC This is an environmental decision on our behalf, my conscious could not accept the amount of rubbish created. We trust that you probably have your own preferences of products and we thank you for your understanding. We have an area with a small fire pit for people to use. Its a great way to connect back to nature and enjoy the beautiful outdoors both during the day and by night. You may even get a star show (clouds permitting) and with little to no light pollution they can be particularly dazzling! We can supply you with a bag of wood and fire starting supplies for a small charge, please message for details. And a word about the WIFI- we receive only mobile data having no access to NBN and as a result the wifi is often slow. Like wise the TV reception comes via satellite and can be affected by bad weather. We believe the upside of this is time to reconnect in with yourself, your traveling companion and your environment:-) My Dogs are Dozer, a 5 year old three legged black and tan border collie cross, and Delphie a 2 year old black and tan sausage dog. They are contained to my deck and yard and will be your barking greeting party if I'm not home. You will see a picture of them on the listing in my yard and also a diagram of the property to show the location of your accomodations to avoid confusion.
