Ida and Peter were brilliant hosts, warm and welcoming with lots of great recommendations. Their house is beautiful and has everything you might need. We stayed for a week and could have easily stayed longer. Has all the basics if you want to do some cooking. Location of the house is perfect. Close to all sites and restaurants which are easily walkable. There are 3 supermarkets within 2 minute walk and plenty of options to hire bikes nearby. The garden is a beautiful place to sit and enjoy a drink if the weather is nice. Great to have your own outdoor space! We very much enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Staying at Ida and Peter's place was wonderful. The unit is large, spacious , fully equipped and very nicely decorated. The hosts were very kind showing us around and very quick to respond to texts. The unit's location is very convenient with shopping and restaurants very close by within walking distance. The bus stop is one short block away, and the Haarlem train station is about a ten minute walk. We would highly recommend staying here!

Peter & Ida’s house is lovely , in a great location, walking distance to the bus & train station with numerous restaurants , bakers and shops right on your doorstep , Haarlem is a lovely base with great transport links to other areas, Amsterdam central station was only 15 minutes by train, we stayed here while attending the Dutch Grand Prix, there is a bus stop only 2 minutes away that took us straight to the track, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the house and Haarlem, Peter and Ida were great hosts.

I have only positive things to say about Ida, her husband, and their lovely home! This was a special trip for us as we once lived in Haarlem, and were dying to show our little girls the place we loved living before they were old enough to remember it. Ida’s place provided us with complete comfort and nice amenities that allowed us to focus on our time in the Netherlands without feeling like anything was missing. Her and her husband’s hospitality and flexibility made it extra special and convenient, too. Aside from their friendly and welcoming nature, the home is as well. It is extremely spacious, clean and well-designed, and is located in one of the best areas of Haarlem. For being so central and close to the excitement, it is incredibly quiet—at times I felt I was staying in the woods! No car is needed, and grocers, cafes, restaurants and shopping are all within a very short, beautiful walk. We leave with only positive memories and would be delighted to stay there again some day!
