We loved the neighbors and the location of the house- you can easily walk to the beach and small town and the forest nearby. The waterfalls are lovely and great place to take a dip, with caution of course. We felt a connection to the locals and appreciated the different vans that went through the village selling fresh bread and produce (and if you like fish- we are vegetarian.) The house itself had some challenges that the owner is working on. The bedrooms have space and it is great to have windows on both sides for a breeze. We enjoyed many meals outside on the front porch and had some good conversations with the neighbors. The internet worked slowly with the best access on the ground floor- not a great set up if you work remotely. We also appreciate being able to bring our dog and that the house was very dog friendly with stone floors downstairs and easy to sweep wood floors upstairs. You can hear the ocean from the bedroom windows which is a plus.
